FLUTE LESSONS

My teaching studio has students of every level and age group. I am able to cater to students who want to learn music for fun, for school band programs, for HSC and AMEB examinations, for tertiary studies or auditions, and professional performance coaching. My teaching philosophy is based on the premise that although learning the flute is a complex discipline, above all it should be enjoyable and enriching. Lessons are face-to-face at my Hornsby Heights studio. I hold a current Working With Children certificate.

CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY

Although we feel our emotions internally, we express them externally. Music is a fantastic way to express feelings that cannot be said in words and process difficult emotions. As a qualified creative arts counsellor and music educator, I am able to gently counsel clients through a journey of self-discovery and life balance using music as a tool to support mental health and holistic healing.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MUSIC WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS

As a NESA Recognised Provider, I am able to run teacher training and professional development music courses for NSW Primary Teachers. In a one day course, we cover musical notation, singing, recorder playing, percussion and a multitude of activities and resources that can be used in the classroom for K-6. No previous musical experience necessary.

SOUND BATHING

Sound bathing is an immersion of sonic vibrations utilising instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and flutes as a form of guided meditation. This tailored session will guide you into a deep sense of relaxation and wellbeing. The multiple benefits of a sound bath include reduced stress, improved sleep and heightened focus and energy. Suitable for groups or individuals.
